Installation and Starting ecologOne

ecologOne is able to run on different devices. On some ifm devices, ecologOne is integrated within the firmware and on windows you have to manually install it. This guide will help you to get it installed on a windows system.

Where to get the setup for installation on Windows?

The latest setup.exe is downloadable on ifm.com .

  1. Search for ecologOne in the searchbar of ifm.com .
  2. Select the latest version of ecologOne and download it.
  3. Execute the setup.exe inside the setup folder of the zip-file as administrator .

The installation process places a desktop shortcut labeled ecologOne on the Windows desktop. The shortcut is configured to launch the ecologOne frontend in the default web browser at a predefined URL. Necessary dependencies and services are installed and configured in the background.


Starting ecologOne

Windows
  1. Double-click the ecologOne desktop shortcut .
  2. The system's default web browser will automatically open and the predefined ecologOne frontend URL.

Alternatively, you can search for ecologOne in the Windows search bar and start it from there.

Device

To open ecologOne on your device select one of the supported browsers and enter the ip address of the device following the Port and the path:

IPAddress:Port/ecologone/device/connect
