To configure, start or stop application and services or to change time & date or screen settings on your device, the System Settings tab provides this possibility. Every application or service that is possible to be configured, started or stopped is shown in this tab. Setting the NodeID for communication with ecologConnect or stopping the Telnet server on your device are examples for system settings.

To configure settings for ecologConnect , use the ecologConnect sub tab of the System Settings tab.

You will see if ecologConnect is running or not and which version of ecologConnect is implemented on the device. If a device supports it, ecologConnect can be stopped.

For the communication of ecologConnect via Ethernet you can set the Port for the connection and activate or deactivate the service on this interface completely.

For the communication via CAN you have the possibility to change the NodeID that is being used to communicate via ecologConnect on the according interface.

The appearance of application and services follow the same structure over all of them. The Common sections shows the status of a service. If a service has a version, it will be displayed in this section too. Some services may provide addtional settings to configure the service.

To start or stop a service, the Application Control section can be used. By either clicking Start or Stop the device will get this command and starts or stops the service.

Some devices may provide the possibility to adjust the screen settings of the device.

The first section allow the configuration of screen brightness and the orientation of the screen on the display of the device itself.

The Splash Screen section allows to upload an image to devices, that support the use of a splash screen.

To set the date and the time of your device, use the Date & Time Sub tab of the System settings tab.

To set the Date and the time, you have to click on the Calendar icon and a calendar together with a clock will open up. Change the settings to your preferred and then click on Set .

Additionally you can set the time zone for the time you have set. The first dropdown allows to choose the preferred region, while the second one allows to select the location. After choosing all the preferred settings, click on Assign Data .

To configure the LEDs of your device select the System settings tab and then the LEDs tab. You will see all available LEDs that can be configured.

If the devices allows to change the color of an LED, you have to enter the color in HEX in the first input field of the LED you want to change the color.

If you want to change the blinking frequency of the LED, you can enter a valid value. The allowed range is displayed below the input field. Some LEDs may not provide the setting of the frequency, others may not allow changing the color.
