Date and time settings

For timestamping the data that will be transferred to the cloud, it is very important to have the date and time of the device setup correctly.

Date and Time settings

Time zone

  • Options: See the dropdown list, as this list is quite extensive .
  • Default: UTC
  • Description: Device Timezone settings.

NTP Time Sync

Configure a NTP server to which will connect to if an internet connection is available and synchronize the internal date and time.

Enable NTP time sync

  • Options: ON/OFF
  • Default: ON
  • Description: Enable or disable the Network Time Protocol service for synchronizing the internal date and time with the external server.

Additional NTP server address

  • Type: string
  • Default: <empty>
  • Description: Note: this is a setting for an additional NTP server which can be added by the user to the list of servers, the device always uses ntp.proemion.com by default.
