In this chapter of the CR3171 WebUI manual, we're going to run through all the options available in updating or backuping a CR3171.

From the landing page, navigate to the Firmware section.

Within the sidebar, within the section Updates there are two main topics, Firmware and Configuration.

This section will handle the firmware topic and show you the current installed firmware version and the time and date of installation.

By Clicking somewhere inside the red marked are, you get into the update procedure.

After clicking on "Upload" inside the "Upload firmware file" section and selecting the firmware file or by drag and dropping the file into the grey doted area, you should see your selected file.

When clicking on upload the firmware is getting uploaded to the CR3171.

Then you will see a message, that the firmware file has been uploaded successfully and is ready for installation.

Wait while the device is installing the firmware.

Once the installation is done, the WebUI will be reachable again and the version should be updated.

This section will handle the configuration topic and show you how to export configurations and load them to another device them.

To export a configuration of your settings, select the export icon.

Your browser should download a settings.clm file and show a success message.

To import an earlier exported configuration, select the red marked area.

Upload the settings.clm file you have exported earlier.

After the settings have been installed, you will receive a success message.
