Onboarding

The moneo EdgeGateway cannot be onboarded directly via a self-service wizard. Instead, a “How to” guide is provided in the self-service portal to explain the process. This guide outlines how to successfully connect your EdgeGateway to the moneo Cloud.

important Note:
To onboard the EdgeGateway, it is mandatory to have an active moneo Cloud instance.
If you do not yet have a moneo Cloud instance, please following guide
Create moneo|cloud instance

AE2100

  • As shown in the illustration, connect your EdgeGateway to the internet access and your computer.
Note: Ensure that the Gateway is powered on

Open the Gateway interface

  • Click the “Connect” button in the self-service portal. This will open a new tab in your web browser.

Accept the unsecured connection

  • Your browser will display a warning about an unsecured connection. Accept this warning to access the configuration wizard to your moneo EdgeGateway.
Note: No changes to your IP address are required.
Enter credentials
Once the wizard starts, you will be prompted to enter your credentials. These credentials allow the moneo EdgeGateway to connect to the self-service portal.
The wizard will display the available moneo|cloud instances that the provided credentials have access to. Select the desired instance to proceed.
