Cellular settings

Within the Cellular Settings section, you can configure the cellular band selection mode. This determines whether the device should automatically select bands or use a manually defined list.

Auto Mode:

The device will scan and attempt to connect using all available bands.

Manual Mode:

Only the user-selected bands will be scanned and considered for connection.

ℹ Information
In some scenarios, manually selecting bands can speed up the connection process by limiting the scan to specific frequencies. To ensure the selected bands are available in your location, consult tools such as CellMapper .

⚠ Warning
If manual band selection is used and none of the selected bands are available, the device will be unable to establish a data connection.

Band selection mode:

Options: auto , manual

Default: auto

Description: In auto mode, t he device will scan and attempt to connect using all available bands. In manual mode: Only the user-selected bands will be scanned and considered for connection.

UMTS bands and LTE Bands

When the selection mode is to manual, both the UMTS and the LTE bands can be selected to scan and attempt to connect to.
