remoteConnect

This setting controls whether the remoteConnect service is enabled on the device, providing secure cloud-based remote access via ifm infrastructure. Starting with firmware version 1.7.0, remoteConnect is enabled by default, replacing SiteManager as the default remote access option. Only a single option—enable or disable—is available, making configuration straightforward. If upgrading from an earlier version where SiteManager was active, that setting will be preserved.

Information / Disclaimer:
Starting with firmware version 1.7.0, remoteConnect is enabled by default, while SiteManager is disabled by default.
However, if the device is updated from an earlier firmware version where SiteManager was active, that setting will be retained and continue to apply after the update. Ensure your remote access settings are correctly configured post-update to match your operational requirements.
