Server settings

In the Advanced Settings of the CR3171, you can modify the connection parameters used for establishing communication with the cloud and for transferring files to and from the device.

⚠ Warning
Unless explicitly instructed by ifm, it is strongly recommended not to change these settings. Modifying them may disrupt the connection to the cloud and prevent any communication with cloud-based services.

Communication unit Id

Default: <IMEI>

Description: This field contains the identifier with which the device has been registered in the cloud services, generally this will be the IMEI of the device.

Domain name or IP address of the server

Type: string

Default: mqtt.proemion.com

Description: Connection and destination address, URL, of the connection to the remote server.

Port of the remote server

Type: int32

Default: 8883

Description: Connection and destination address, port, of the connection to the remote server.

Automatically upload incoming files to the server

Default: ON

Description: Enable or disable the automatic transfer of files to the cloud server.

URL to use when uploading files via HTTP POST

Type: string

Default: https://transfers.proemion.com/fromMachine

Description: Remote server URL when files are uploaded.
